What Type of Engine Oil Should I Use?

Please refer to the following chart for your climate conditions that may require different weight oil.

Add small amounts until the oil appears at the bottom of the filler plug threaded hole in the crankcase. Too little oil will activate the low oil sensor and not allow the engine to start. Too much oil will cause the engine breather system to purge excess oil into the air cleaner box near the carburetor and eventually obstruct air flow to the engine. This will flood the engine with too much fuel and foul the spark plug. Your engine will not start when this happens.
