40065 Support Leg Installation

This bulletin covers the following Champion Power Equipment models: All generator models of 2800 to 4750-watts built after January 2013. 

Some models may require the removal of an additional rubber foot.
Read all instructions carefully and completely before performing service.
  1. These models include a rubber pad that you should remove prior to installing the wheel kit.

  2. Be sure that there is NO oil in the engine or fuel in the gas tank. Stand the generator on its end, so the pull rope is facing the ground as in the picture above. 
  3. Remove the nut on the rubber pad's threaded bolt section and then remove the pad.

  4. You should now have the available holes on the cross-member to install the support leg.
